Working with us

We support organisations with research, awareness-raising, consulting and active involvement in digitalisation projects. To do so, we break through silos and bring together experts from science, design, business and technology.

Approach

In order to make desirable futures a reality, we conduct future experiments. These allow us to negotiate, discuss and ultimately test scenarios of possible futures.

Develop desirable future scenarios

For us, working with future scenarios forms the basis for not only reacting to technological and social developments, but also proactively responding to changes. On basis of scenario planning, we formulate desirable future scenarios and, on this basis, develop options for action for the present.

Testing future scenarios

Experimenting with new ideas and approaches is a central aspect in order to position oneself as an organisation successfully in digitisation processes. We place particular emphasis on testing the practical suitability of the developed options for action. With the first prototypes, for example, valuable market knowledge can be gained in a short time and possible courses of action explored.

Project partnerships and consulting for digital processes

Our project partnerships range from one-day workshops to collaborations lasting several years. We bring in our expertise in digital transformation and its business models, design and technology and actively help you to implement your projects.

Introduction to our main topics

In input presentations on our main topics, we provide a comprehensive overview of the latest developments and what influence these could have on your organisation. In doing so, we formulate different scenarios and thus create a basis for lively discussions.

Our Principles

Eager to experiment

By means of future experiments we can test our ideas at an early stage and gain insights. In doing so, we experiment where others fear failure.

Honest

We do not promise more than we can offer. We are self-critical and take our time to give our work a solid foundation.

Independent

We remain true to ourselves and our priorities. That is why we are independent of any institutions and finance ourselves through our own projects, whose content and goals we determine ourselves.

Holistic

We work with a transdisciplinary team. This enables us to critically examine approaches to solutions from different perspectives and to detect weaknesses early on.

Relevant to society

Society is at the centre of our work. We seek meaningful answers to societal challenges. This claim is non-negotiable.

Open

The Dezentrum is open for people with different opinions and origins. With our workshops and events we always want to bring together an audience that is as diverse as possible.
