How do new possibilities of AI influence the everyday life of artists and our understanding of creativity? A panel discussion on AI, art and culture in collaboration with TA-SWISS.

On Wednesday, 26 February 2025, TA-SWISS and HEK invite you to a public evening on digitalisation, art and AI. Eva Pauline Bossow will moderate the discussion with Ramona Sprenger (Think & Do Tank Dezentrum), Esther Hunziker (artist), Stefano Kunz (Swiss Music Council) and Ueli Grüter (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts). The event is based on the recently published TA-SWISS study Culture and Digitalisation, which examines how digital technologies are shaping artistic creation and cultural diversity in Switzerland. Those who prefer a more playful approach can also discover the study on an interactive platform: www.proofofculture.ch

The event will be followed by an aperitif for cosy and stimulating discussions.

This will be complemented by a workshop in collaboration with Dezentrum Think & Do Tank from 16:00 to 17:30. The workshop offers the opportunity to explore the functionality and potential of generative AI in culture, education and everyday life. A practical introduction shows tools such as ChatGPT and Adobe Firefly and encourages discussion of the opportunities and limitations of AI in creative fields.

Registration for the workshop is required.
